Stephanie Williamson, NCC, LPC

Stephanie Williamson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Springfield, IL office. Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology from Benedictine University in 2010. She completed her graduate degree in Human Development Counseling from University of Illinois Springfield in 2016. She has over 6 years’ experience as a therapist using an eclectic, strength-based approach in individual, family, and group counseling to serve the needs of her clients. Stephanie applies various therapeutic models into her practice, including trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and attachment therapy. Stephanie values the importance of a therapeutic alliance with her clients as a key component towards healing and growth. Stephanie has established success in addressing needs in areas such as sexual abuse victimization, youth with sexual behavior problems, attachment, depression, anxiety, and issues in response to traumatic experiences.
