Tara Desmond

Tara is currently the Marketing & Communications Manager at IL Corn handling all digital touches for the company including media monitoring, social media management, website management, membership engagement, videography and design.  Previous to her role at IL Corn she was the Marketing & Human Resource Director at Core 3 being a department of one handing all marketing and human resource projects.  She embraces the gig world by continuing her own consulting company (Desmond Digital Designs and Marketing Consulting) part time helping small businesses with their custom marketing needs. Previously she worked as Marketing Director at IPI Wealth Management and at COUNTRY Financial in HR for 10 years.  Tara has served on several committees and boards previous to ABC Counseling including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mclean County(5 years), YWCA RSVP committee (2 years), Women of Distinction committee(1 year) and Bloomington-Normal HR Council board (6 years).   Tara graduated from SIUC in 2005 with a specialization in Advertising Integrated Marketing Communications.
